Whither the Future?
While it appears few have noticed, The Unbreakables is currently off exhibit. As I have mentioned before, it is being reworked into a more mainstream piece of fantasy or speculative fiction. We hope the first book in the series will appear at a virtual bookstore near you in early 2015. More news and exciting teasers are coming soon, so stay tuned.

I noticed! Having read and enjoyed all of your Reality Check series, I was delighted to silver the Unbreakables series. Unfortunately I discovered it a few days before it vanished and had only got to part 13 :( I look forward to it coming back! Thank you or writing, I love the way you tell a story with fleshed out characters that feel somewhat real.

ReplyDeleteI hope you will continue from where Empires ended. I would like to know how Taurin and Aleron managed to face the challenges in Free Tamor, as well as the life of Eliot, Ronan and their kids.
Thank you for stopping by and letting us know you miss The Unbreakables. The boys will be returning, not quire in the same venue or form, and we will have a novel that tells more of Taurin and Aleron after the conclusion of Empires.

Hi there, Kor here, the second author of the Unbreakables. First of allo, thanks a lo for letting us know you enjoyed our stories. Unfortunately, the older version of Unbreakables is not going to be available again. As Nat has already mentioned in her posts on the book, the series have ventured very far from it starting point. As the writer of Eliot I constantly felt like I was being dishonest about his real nature. The new version is finally displaying Eliot the way I've always seen him, without the disguise of the romantic hero. Our other characters have suffered similar changes, but on a smaller scale. Together with more honest characters we have taken out any trace of erotica from the stories, element that, in our minds, was taking away from the plot of the story. For this reasons we feel the older version does not represent our characters and our story anymore. That is why it is not coming back. Another reason for not displaying the story on the internet, is that it had failed to achieve the result we hoped for. As a writer, the only reason to put your work up there is to have a glimpse of what the readers think of it and to try and grow from their feedback. As our readers have been mostly silent, there is simply no more motivation for us to keep travelling the same route.
